Make a photo collage online
Collages turn a pile of photos into one shareable image — mood boards, vacation recaps, product round-ups, birthday posts. ImagesCombine is a free collage maker that runs entirely in your browser: no sign-up, no watermark, no uploads.
Two ways to build your collage
- Collage preset — the first photo becomes the hero image; the rest stack beside it or form a row below. Fast and tidy.
- Freeform — a blank canvas where you drag each photo anywhere, resize it with the corner handle, and layer them in any order. This is the way to go for mood boards and custom layouts.
Step 1 — Add your photos
Open the collage maker and drop in up to 20 photos — JPG, PNG and WebP all mix together. Reorder any time in the thumbnail list; in Freeform the order also sets which photo sits on top.
Step 2 — Arrange
In Freeform, pick a canvas shape first — wide 16:9 for headers, square for feeds, 9:16 for stories. Then drag photos into place. Nudge with the arrow keys for smaller adjustments, and use[/] or the corner handle to resize.
Step 3 — Style it
Round the corners, add a drop shadow, or draw a border around each photo for the classic scrapbook look. Set the background color — or keep it transparent for a PNG/WebP you can layer elsewhere.
Step 4 — Export
Download as PNG for a sharp lossless collage, JPEG for the smallest file, or WebP for the web. Check the output dimensions shown before you download. Resizing an image or changing the layout can change those dimensions; enlarging a small source can soften its details.
Photo grid or freeform collage?
Choose Grid for equal cells in rows and columns. Use Collage presets for one prominent photo with smaller supporting images; these presets crop pictures to fill their tiles. Freeform is useful for a mood board where pictures overlap. The last thumbnail is the top layer.
